  • 1 cup(s) cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3/4 cup(s) whole milk
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) Grace Margarine
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt

Easy Cheese Appetizers Directions

  1. Put cheese and milk into the top of a double boiler over simmering water, and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  2. Combine part of the hot mixture with the beaten egg in a small bowl, stir well, then gradually pour into remaining cheese mixture.
  3. Add margarine and salt; and continue stirring until smooth and nicely thickened.

    TO SERVE: Serve over toast or crackers while very hot.
