  • 1 1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) Grace Cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 tablespoon(s) baking powder
  • 1 cup(s) Grace Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup(s) whole milk
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1/2 cup(s) sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla essence

Chef's Special Cornbread Directions

  1. Combine flour, Grace Cornmeal, salt and baking powder.
  2. Whisk together Grace Vegetable Oil, milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla essence.
  3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the liquid mixture.  Mix gently until the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Scrape into a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven 190°C/375°F for 50 minutes or until done.

    Yield: 1 Loaf
