An unusual ingredient for some great tasting menu items!

There’s a surprising side of a common food those who plan to prepare a Valentine’s meal might consider. Since romance always hints of seduction, the aphrodisiac qualities of this ubiquitous and most phallic of fruits, give it star quality on such a day.

Bananas are believed to have ‘romantic chemistry’, according to some sources. And its nutritional value includes vitamin C, potassium and vitamin B6, – the latter two reportedly part of the sex hormone production process.
A tad unusual perhaps, but the ripe banana is an exciting ingredient for your Valentine’s Day cooking. Traditionally a breakfast food, it offers enormous possibilities for different meals on this special occasion.

Start your Valentine’s Day with breakfast in bed munching on a scrumptious Oat Banana Muffin or a warm slice of Banana Bread. Or, mix a tasty banana salad, with some coconut cream and something tart like a tangerine to excite your tongue.  Perhaps you can try banana fritters, a Caribbean favorite.

Dinner also offers a variety of choices with this nutritious fruit. Roast Chicken with Bacon & Banana Stuffing, for instance, is likely to put your Valentine’s date in the right kind of mood. If you’re looking to be more adventurous use the banana to make cocktails, smoothies or pies. Or make a delish dessert such as the Banana Nut Cake, or Banana with Royal Pineapple Sauce.
The upside of banana as a main ingredient is more than sensual. We hear that bananas give energy and vigor. Tiger Woods is reported to have a banana on the green whenever his energy dips. That’s not a reward to scoff at on Valentines Day.

There’re many recipes that use bananas in the cleverest ways . There are also arousing ideas for use of the fruit straight out of the peel.  We’re thinking whole with champagne and some chocolate dip. The smoothness and sweetness of the fruit as is will romance the stomach. Certainly, that’s the way to everyone’s heart.
