Steamed Pak Choi


For 3 people ()

  • 1 ounce(s) Grace Vegetable Oil
  • 2 ounce(s) onion, julienne
  • 1 ounce(s) garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon(s) scotch bonnet pepper, chopped
  • 4 ounce(s) Grace Fresh n' Ready Carrot
  • 1 pound(s) pak choi, washed and cut up
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) black pepper
  • 4 ounce(s) tomato, julienne
  • 1 ounce(s) red sweet pepper, julienne
  • 1 ounce(s) green sweet pepper, julienne
  • 1 ounce(s) yellow sweet pepper, julienne
  • 1 stalk(s) escallion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon(s) thyme
  • 1 ounce(s) Anchor Butter, unsalted

Steamed Pak Choi Directions

In a saute pot over medium flame add oil and saute onion, garlic, scotch bonnet pepper and carrot.

Saute vegetable for 1 minute then add pak choi, salt and black pepper.  Cover and continue to cook for another 3 minutes.

Add tomato, sweet pepper, escallion, thyme and butter; stir, cover and continue cooking for another 3 minutes or until the stalks of the pak choi are tender.
